Linda L. Wallace

Linda L. Wallace, 80, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at her home.  A visitation service will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Atkinson Chapel.  A graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Kewanee, IL.  Reverend Terry Lancaster will officiate.  Flowers will be accepted at the visitation; however, the family request that no memorials be made.

Linda was born January 6, 1942, the daughter of Kenneth and Mabel (Craig) Andris, in Kewanee, IL.  She graduated from Peoria High School.  Linda married Jerry Wallace in Myrtle Beach, SC.  He preceded her in death.  She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of multiple bridge clubs.  Linda was a devote Christian and saved a lot of souls for the Holy Spirit.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving sons, Bill (Catherine) Fruit, Allen, TX, and Jeff (Trava) Fruit, Grand Prairie, TX; six grandchildren, Jacqueline (Luke) Fox, Natalie Fruit, Kennedy Fruit, Melissa Fruit, Katie (Taylor) Braswell, Matthew (Kerri Sponterelli) Fruit; and brothers, Larry (Faye) Andris, Bloomington, IL, Kinney (Sue) Andris, Kewanee, IL, and Danny (Kathy) Andris, Gilbert, AZ.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mabel; and her loving husband, Jerry.
