Lorre Kay Frank Walker

Lorre Kay Frank Walker, 58, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away on August 24, 2024, at 3:05 PM at Aspirus River View Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life at Yorktown Cemetery will be held on September 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Terry Lancaster officiating. Lunch will be served at the Beverly Frank home. Memorials can be directed to the Lorre Walker Memorial Fund. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory will be assisting the family with arrangements.

Lorre was born on November 1, 1965, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Fredric and Beverly Frank. Lorre married Mike Walker and later divorced. She graduated from Annawan High School Class of 1984. She was a CNA at Hillcrest Nursing Home and Good Sams in Geneseo. Lorre also worked at Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center in Sparta, WI, and lastly at ODC in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She enjoyed her cat “Angel”, her grandchildren and sitting outside watching the birds.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Beverly Frank of Annawan, her children; Ashley (Josh) Palumbo of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Marcus (Courtney) Sleaford of Atkinson, and Jessica (Adam) Gordon of Ames, IA, and 6 grandchildren; Aiden, Alex, Archer, Ariel, Avery Palumbo, and Henley Sleaford, brothers, Lindsey Frank and Lonnie (Tammy) Frank, 6 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, one on the way in October and special friend Wayne Swiggum.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fredric Errol Frank; and son, Aaron Frank.
