Michael L. Mariman

Michael L. Mariman, 70, of Geneseo, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Hammond Henry Hospital – Emergency Department, Geneseo.  Cremation rites have been accorded, and no services will be held per Michael’s wishes.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements. 

Michael was born December 29, 1954, the son of Edward and Melvine (Heller) Mariman, in Geneseo, IL.  He attended Geneseo High School.  On June 1, 1974, he married Kathleen Corwin at a service held in Cambridge, IL.  Michael was a mechanic for the Deck Gas Station and Mariman Truck Testing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathleen Mariman of Geneseo; daughter, Amy Mariman of Geneseo; brother, Gary Mariman of Geneseo; and brother-in-law, Darrell Corwin of Silvis.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Melvine Mariman; brothers, Bud, Roger, Royce, and Terry Mariman; and sister, Betty Gildersleeve.
