Pam was born in Los Angeles, CA, on November 20, 1945, to the parents Edward Holz and Hazel Holz. She was reborn as a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism on February 24, 1946. On March 22, 1959, she was confirmed in the Christian faith and was fed the life-giving body and blood of Jesus. Pam graduated from Orange High School, Orange, CA. She was united in holy marriage to Arden Taube on February 7, 1987. They were blessed with thirty-three years of married life together. God also blessed them with the gift of a child, Elisa Taube Marfise. Pam loved to travel. Arden and Pam made the trip of a lifetime, going on safari to Tanzania, East Africa, for two weeks in 2018 - a trip they would always treasure. They also rafted down the Grand Canyon and the Salmon River. When asked if Pam enjoyed baking or cooking, Arden jokingly stated, “Well, she loved Schwan’s and her microwave!” Arden and Pam were members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Chariton, IA.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Arden; her daughter, Elisa (Michael) Marfise; granddaughter, Gemma Marfise; and her sister, Jacqueline Parker.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our sister Pam.
