Patricia M. Green

Patricia Mae Green, 87, of Geneseo, formerly of Annawan, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Hammond Henry Hospital – Long Term Care Unit, Geneseo.  Cremation rites have been requested and per Patricia’s wishes, no service will be held.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at Annawan Cemetery, Annawan, IL.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Patricia was born December 19, 1936, the daughter of William and Hattie (Miranville) Decker, in Geneseo, IL.  She graduated from Annawan High School.  Patricia married Eugene Green on June 26, 1955.  He preceded her in death on April 1, 2008.  Pat was employed by the Annawan School District as a bus driver for over 42 years.  Her hobbies included gardening, antiquing, and baking (especially lemon meringue pie).  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons and great-grandchildren. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Jodee (Jude) Loncka of Davenport, IA, Mindy Green of Moline, IL, and Michael (Lenda) Green of Pagosa Springs, CO; grandchildren, Grace Green, Jeremie (Sara) Loncka, Joel (Victoria) Loncka, Allan (Brittany) Carlson, and Cameron Green; great-grandchildren, Penelope Loncka, Travis Carlson, and Scotty Carlson; and sister, Betty Erickson.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, William and Hattie Decker; her loving husband, Eugene Green; and grandson, Aaron Carlson.
