Patricia Shean Obituary

Patricia A. Shean, 68, of Hampton, IL, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020, at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport IA. Cremation rites have been accorded. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Patricia Shean Memorial Fund c/o Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory, 580 E. Ogden Avenue, Geneseo, IL 61254.

Patricia was born on October 20, 1951, the daughter of Joseph and Marjorie (Edwards) Shean, in Rock Island, IL. She graduated from Rock Island High School. She was employed for several years as a patient service representative with Genesis Health Systems. Patricia was a huge Barry Manilow fan, attending multiple concerts with her friends. She also enjoyed knitting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Kate (Gary) Ensminger, Summerville, SC, and Douglas (Kim) Stonehocker, Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Mitchell, Kristin, Josie, and Everett; special friends, Sandy Cook, Christine Lage, Jerry and Lyn Kennedy; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marjorie.
