Paul F. Werner, 67, of Geneseo, IL, passed away on January 5, 2026, at Allure of Geneseo. A memorial visitation will be held for Paul from 4:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory-Geneseo Chapel. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Kingswood Church-Geneseo with Rev. Chris Ritter officiating. He will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Geneseo. Paul was born in Geneseo on January 17, 1958, the son of Jerome and Mardell (Hodgin) Werner. He graduated from Geneseo High School. Paul married Debbie Geiger and later Jennifer Dobbles. He was a member of Kingswood Church and enjoyed watching NASCAR, gardening, doing woodworking projects and going fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are children; Jeremy (Sara) Werner of Hampton, Brian (Alicia) Werner of Geneseo, Kali (Jacob) Morse of Prophetstown and Alexandria (Garrett) Stephenson of Pueblo, CO, siblings; James (Cherie) Werner, Robert (Rose) Werner, Ken (Teresa) Werner, Daniel (Carolyn) Werner, MaryAnn (James) Clifton, Sandy (Johnny) Dell, Janet (Paul) Vanderschaaf, Ellen Melton, brother-in-law, Mike Godsil and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Mardell Werner, brother, Michael Werner, sister, Peggy Godsil, sister-in-law, Susan Werner, and grandson, Henry Werner.
