Rebecca "Becki" M. Holzgrafe

Rebecca “Becki” M. Holzgrafe, 78, of Geneseo, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Geneseo.  Reverend Dave Murphy will officiate.  A public visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel.  Becki will be laid to rest with her husband William Holzgrafe in a private inurnment service.  Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church, 15300 Ford Road, Geneseo, IL, 61254, in honor of Rebecca.

Becki was born December 27, 1942, the daughter of Clark and Mary (Worley) Powell, in Sullivan County, MO.  She graduated with a Master of Business Administration from St. Ambrose University, Davenport.  She married Harold Bennett in 1960.  Becki later married William Holzgrafe in 1995.  He preceded her in death on April 4, 2020.  She was a budget and program analyst with the Rock Island Arsenal. 

Those left to cherish Becki’s memory include her loving children; Douglas Bennett, Donald Bennett, Dwayne Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Dale Bennett, Deborah Bennett, Skyler Holzgrafe, Zachary Holzgrafe, Jacob Holzgrafe, William K. Holzgrafe, and Jeffrey Holzgrafe; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Clark and Mary; husbands, Harold Bennett and William Holzgrafe; two brothers; a sister-in-law; and a niece.
