Rhonda K. Norberg

Rhonda K. Norberg, 63, of Hooppole, IL, passed away on December 31, 2023, at Hammond Henry Hospital-Geneseo. Per her wishes she will be cremated, and services will be held at a later date. Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory-Geneseo Chapel is in charge of arrangements. 

Rhonda was born in Elgin, IL, on June 26, 1960, the daughter of Harold and Barbara Fleming. She married Derek Norberg in 2005 and he survives. She loved her grandkids more than anything in the world and her favorite inside joke was that sometimes she liked them even more than her own kids. She would do anything she could to help someone in need. Rhonda loved reading books and Stephen King books were her favorites. She had excellent artistic skills, loved to play games with other family members and just living life surrounded by family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Derek Norberg, daughter, Amanda (Tim) Coutts, grandchildren; Faith Moore and Oliver Norberg, sister, Lorrie (Denny) Porter, and brothers; Ron and Mark Fleming.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Barbara Fleming and one daughter, Destiny Norberg.
