Richard “Ricky” Leo Naylor, 67, of Geneseo, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo. A private funeral mass will be held at St. Malachy Catholic Church. Reverend James Pallardy will celebrate. Ricky will be laid to rest next to his brother, John Naylor, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, in lieu of flowers.
Ricky was born on January 19, 1953, in Yonkers, NY, the son of Clement and Rose Naylor, and sibling to five brothers and two sisters. He was employed as a horse groomer and loved all animals. Those that knew him stated, “He loved visiting and talking to anyone.” He enjoyed collecting sports cards and coins, spending time with friends and family, and working on puzzles.
Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Debbie (Pat) Wilson, Geneseo, IL, Dee (Keith) Alexander, Bob (Joan) Naylor, Mark (Bonnie) Naylor, Wayne Naylor, and Kevin Naylor, all of OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Rose, and his brother, John Naylor.
