Robert Franks Obituary

Robert Franks, 82, of Annawan, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Allure of Geneseo. A Celebration of Life memorial gathering will be held on January 16, 2022, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Annawan Community Center.

Robert was born on March 10, 1939, the son of Kennard Sr. and Katherine (Clark) Franks, in Deer Grove, IL. Robert graduated from Atkinson High School in 1957. He went on to become an inspector with Navistar for over 40 years. Robert married Connie Sand in 2008 and she survives. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle, water skiing, boating, and traveling. Robert always enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Connie of Annawan, IL; children; Paula (Buddy) Hay of Moline, IL, Lonnie Franks of Gary, IN, Mick (Kris) Franks of Walnut, IL; siblings, Karen (Les) Atwell, Jerry (Mary Kay) Franks, Len (Deb) Franks, Kennard (Jan) Franks Jr.; grandchildren, Adam and Stephanie Hay, Haley (Alex) Fisch, Brady (Sydney) Franks, Cheyenne (Josh) Bruno; great grandchildren; Brooklyn Franks, Maverick Fisch, Rebekah Bruno and Junior Bruno.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Franks and granddaughter, Sarah Franks.
