Roberta Doubler

Roberta (Bert) Doubler, 84, passed peacefully with family around her on June 22, 2025. Cremation rites have been accorded, and private services will be held at a later date. Memorials to the Grant Lee Dean Memorial Foundation can be sent to her daughter, 974 Lilly Rd., Alliance, OH 44601.  Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel will be assisting with arrangements.

She ran a beauty shop and yarn shop from her home, worked in the family-run cattle and hog buying station, and worked in the activity department at Mercer County Nursing Home. She loved to read, play cards, and was an avid crafter. 

Roberta is preceded in death by husband Ronald E. Doubler, son-in-law Roger K. Dunham, parents Trenton and Maxine Ullrick, in-laws Albert and Lucille Doubler, brothers Larry and Donald Ullrick, and great-nephew Grant Dean.

She is survived by daughter Catherine A. (Doubler) Dunham, brother Charles Ullrick, sister-in-laws Annette Talbot (Donald) and Bonnie Ullrick (Larry), sister and brother-in-law Mary Kay (Doubler) and Marvin Newman, and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-niece and nephew.
