Ronald Egert Obituary

Ronald Dale Egert, 67, of Atkinson, IL, passed away on April 24, 2025, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, IA. Cremation rites have been accorded by Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 1 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. at the Gathering Place, 500 N State St. Atkinson, IL 61235. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ronald Egert Memorial Fund.

Ronald Dale Egert was born on January 14, 1958, the son of Arlyn and Elizabeth (VanQuakebeke) Egert in Geneseo, IL.

Thoe left to cherish his memory include his son, Dale Currier of Galesburg, IL; brother, Steven (Geraldine) Egert of Geneseo, IL; sister, Judy Rush of Atkinson, IL and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlyn and Elizabeth Egert.
