Sandra Sue Ullrick, age 74, of Geneseo, IL, passed away at her home on Friday, October 13th, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at the First Congregational Church in Geneseo, IL, Pastor Tim Doty will officiate. Burial will immediately follow the service in Liberty Cemetery, Atkinson, IL. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Vandemore Funeral Home, Geneseo Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sandra S. Sandra was born on June 25, 1949 in Geneseo, IL the daughter of Frederick and Elvera (Sears) Reiling.
Sandra graduated from J.D.Darnall High school class of 1967. She married the love of her life Charles “Chuck” Ullrick on May 4, 1969, He survives. Sandra worked briefley at Farmers National Bank in Geneseo but was mainly a homemaker taking care of her three lovely daughters, and then later worked as a cook for Growth in Geneseo as well as a proofreader for the Geneseo Republic. She loved watching and supporting Geneseo sports and especially attending all of her Grandchildren’s events. She enjoyed crocheting, singing in choir at First Congregational Church, where she was a long time member. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband;Chuck of Geneseo, her mother Elvera, of Geneseo, formerly of Atkinson, her three daughters: Jennifer (Doug) Bucknell of Alpharetta, GA, Jerica (Glenn) Minton of Geneseo, IL, Machala (Travis Davis) Ullrick of Davenport, IA, grandchildren; Daisy Bucknell, Koltenn (Kaitlynn) Minton, Kamrenn Minton, Maiah Ullrick and one great- granddaughter; Carolynn Minton, one brother; Donald (Carol) Reiling of Atkinson, IL, one sister; Rebecca (Mike) Pobanz of Geneseo, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father; Frederick Reiling, one brother; Steven Allen Reiling, grandmothers and grandfathers; Harold and Elizabeth Reiling and Charles and Orpha Sears.
