Scott Kevin Piepenbrink, 66, of Geneseo, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at First Methodist Church, Geneseo. Reverend Dr. Chris Ritter will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., prior to the memorial service at the church. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Scott was born on October 28, 1957, the son of Kenneth and Connie (Becker) Piepenbrink, in Joliet, IL. He was a graduate of Clinton High School, class of 1975. He was employed at Exelon Nuclear Power Station as head of supply and security. On December 23, 1983, Scott married Susan “Sami” Ade. His hobbies included golfing, fishing, playing ice hockey, snow skiing, water skiing, and mowing his lawn.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sami; children, Brady (Chelsea) Piepenbrink of Normal, IL, Brittany (Bryce) Kiser of Severance, CO, and Tanner (Jessica) Piepenbrink of Riverdale, IA; grandchildren, Griffin, Ryder, and Novalee Piepenbrink; Cooper and granddaughter on the way, Scottie Kiser; mother, Connie Piepenbrink; and siblings, Renee (Kurt) Sessions and Craig (Jeni) Piepenbrink.
