Sharon Christian Obituary

Sharon F. Christian, 82, of Geneseo, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo, IL. No services are being held. Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sharon Christian Memorial Fund.

Sharon was born September 2, 1938, the daughter of Clyde and Evelyn (Bush) Maring, in Fulton, IL. She graduated from Rock Island High School. In 1998, Sharon married Steven Christian in a service held in Lebanon, TN. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Southeast Petroleum. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially loved the beach.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Steven; her four daughters; three stepchildren; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Maring; sister, Roxanne Hare; nephew, Ryan Maring; and niece, Deanna.
