Sharon Coulter Obituary

Sharon Nadine Coulter 79 of Geneseo passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at her home. Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services.  Inurnment with her loving husband will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery, Oak Hill, Illinois. Memorials may be directed to the Sharon N. Coulter Memorial Fund.

Sharon was born on April 10, 1944, in Kansas City, MO. the daughter of Bernard & Reitha (Hilton) Beever. She was a graduate of Brimfield High School, class of 1962. Sharon married the love of her life James Coulter on June 9, 1962 in Edwards, IL. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2007. She loved auto racing, the river, camping and most of all spending time with her family. Sharon was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. Sharon will now get to rest eternally with her loving husband James.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter; Roxanne (John) Peed of Geneseo, son; Russ (DeAnna) Coulter of Geneseo, five grandchildren; Jacob (Leigh Wendhack) Poulos of Atkinson,  Jessa (Jack) FitzWilliam of Denver, CO, Lauren Coulter of Minneapolis, MN, Megan Coulter of Minneapolis, MN, Riley Coulter of Iowa City, IA, four sisters; Becky Buice of Cedar Rapids, IA, Bernie (Kevin) Brattain of Peoria, IL, Margie Beever of Elmwood, IL, and Chris (Bob) O’Dea of Washington, IL.
