Susan M. Musak

Susan M. Musak, 78, of Moline, IL passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2024, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Geneseo.  Father Daniel Gifford will officiate.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Geneseo Chapel.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the Mass of Christian Burial.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Susan was born on October 20, 1946, in Geneva, IL, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Hardy) Anderson. She obtained her Board of Governors degree from Western Illinois University. Susan worked as a social services caseworker for the State of Illinois, formerly Catholic Charities. She attended and was a former choir member at St. Malachy Catholic Church. Susan enjoyed needlework, counter cross stitching, reading, and watching musicals, especially Hamilton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Donald Musak; children, Carin Musak of Concord, CA, Chad Musak of Orlando, FL, and Marc Musak of Concord, CA; sisters, Judy Knak of West Chicago, IL, Nancy Horan of Truckee, CA; and grandchildren, Brandon, Kylie and Sophia Musak.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Dorothy Anderson, and sister, Peggy Estil.
