Tonya Stevens

Tonya Catherine Elizabeth (Beuseling) Stevens, 63, of Atkinson, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Geneseo, IL.  A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory – Atkinson Chapel.  Reverend Dr. Chris Ritter will officiate.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo.  A visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Friday before the funeral service.  Memorials may be directed to the family and will be used towards Tonya’s funeral expenses.

Tonya was born September 16, 1961, in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of Tom Beuseling and Joan Finnicum. She graduated from Geneseo High School, class of 1979. On June 12, 1992, Tonya married David Stevens. In her spare time, Tonya enjoyed golfing, camping, cooking, and especially spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, David Stevens; children, Ali Stevens, Jayme (Jared) Lopez, and Brandon Stevens; grandchildren, Aurora McGee, Bensen McGee, Ashton Lopez, Aislyn Rahilly, Averie Lopez; stepfather, Douglas Charlton; sister, Kimberly Swanson-Gray; nieces, Brandi (Kyle) Russell and Faith Flores; and nephews, Austin (Shoshanna) Swanson, Blake Lewis, and Javi Flores.

Tonya was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Beuseling and Joan Charlton; sister, Nicole Crisel; and brother-in-law, Peter Gray.
