William "Bike" Jensen Obituary

William “Bike” Jensen, 83, of Princeton, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at Aperion Care Center, Princeton, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held. Condolences may be offered at www.vandemorefuneralhome.com.

Bike was the oldest of 10 boys born to William and Mary Jensen, on October 8, 1940. He married Ruth Croegaert in 1963, the couple resided in Atkinson, IL. where they had three children William “Bill”, Barbara, and Dennis and one stepson Richard “Rich” Gerrond. Bike owned and operated multiple businesses in the Atkinson area but will forever be remembered for his television/CB radio repair and computer store. Bike and Ruth later divorced. Bike married Judith “Judy” Sharp. The couple resided in Princeton, IL and were well known to the dirt track racing community as talented videographers and together they owned Sharp Action Videos.

Bike is survived by his children Barbara Doubet (Eric) of Geneseo, IL and Dennis Jensen (Jennie) of Coal Valley, IL; step-son Mike Maish (Betsy) of Princeton, IL; daughter in-laws, Karen Jensen of Springfield, IL and Ann Gerrond of Rochester, IL; many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; six brothers— Greg (JoAnn Sheldon) of Princeton, IL; Bob of Chicago, IL; Jim (Teresa) of Plano, IL; Gary (Deb) of Dublin, OH; Thomas of AZ and Steven (Pam) of Machesney Park, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kevin, John and Larry; son Bill; stepson Rich; his beloved wife Judy on August 22, 2024.
