William "Bill" John Fuls

William “Bill” John Fuls, 92, of Colona, formerly of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away at his daughter's home on Thursday, April 22, 2021. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Vandemore Funeral Home – Geneseo. Pastor Jeff French will officiate. A memorial visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Rusty Wheels Antique Engine Club.

Bill was born on September 3, 1928, the son of Hinderk and Martha (Milbrandt) Fuls in Waucoma, IA. He attended high school and then received an Associate's Degree from Grace College of the Bible. He also received his A&E certification for aviation maintenance in Omaha, Nebraska. Bill married the love of his life, Lucile, on August 8, 1951, in Butterfield, MN. Bill had a love for antique engines and was a member of the Rusty Wheels Antique Engine Club in Harrison, Arkansas. He enjoyed rebuilding engines, especially ones prior to 1950. Bill loved flying and being a pilot, something he took great pride in.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jim (Melissa) Fuls, Tulsa, OK; daughter, Sharon (Kendall) Davis, Colona, IL; two brothers; one sister; and grandchildren, Aaron Breshears and Adrianna Fuls, and honorary granddaughter Elizabeth Helstrom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hinderk and Martha; wife, Lucile; and three brothers.
