Sharon Kay Holtz, 77, of Eldersburg, MD, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her home.  A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1^st, 2017 at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Geneseo.  Rev. Bruce Bergthold will officiate.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service (12:30 – 1:30 p.m.)  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to WYPR, Maryland Public Radio.

Sharon was born August 31, 1939, in Arlington Heights, IL., the daughter of Owen and Buelah (Davis) Sellers.

She worked for the U.S. Government in foreign military sales.  She enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons Thomas (Rebecca) Holtz of Jessup, MD. and Matthew (Wendy) Holtz of Bristol, CT.; grandchildren,  Alexander Holtz, Douglas Holtz and John Holtz; and her sister, Kathy Roster of Traverse City, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
