I just read about Sharon in the Geneseo Republic and was so sorry to hear the news. I usually hear from Sharon at Christmas time. Sharon and I were friends when we were students at Illinois Wesleyan. I grew up in Geneseo but left after she moved there. However we would visit sometimes when I would visit Geneseo. John and I both send our heartfelt prayers and sympathy to the family. Sending my prayers and sympathy to your family. My dad, Ralph Nordstrom, carpooled with your mom at one point while they both worked at the Arsenal. Dad really enjoyed talking with your mom during these rides. He thought she had a great sense of humor.

Sorry I missed the service. There must not have been much advance notice. I am sure she she is whooping it up in Heaven with all her family and friends. I dearly miss her. She was a sweatheart. If they have wine and books she is in Heaven. Love and Hugs Sharon. Thanks for all the happy memories.

Sharon was a loving, giving, and caring friend and co-worker. I always enjoyed her stories and especially those of her Tom & Matt and the grandsons she adored.

I worked with Sharon at TACOM from 1998 until her retirement. She taught me a lot about Foreign Military Sales (FMS). We shared many a laugh and discussions about books and world affairs.
