Our sympathies to Sherrie and family. Alberta was a very special person, caring, outspoken, and very vibrant. She was a guardian angel to my Aunt Mary Newell and will always be remembered.

ALWAYS ENJOYED AUNT BERT AT ALL THE LAIN FAMILY REUNIONS GROWING UP. SHE WAS A LOVELY LADY AND WILL BE MISSED BY MANY... MY DAD (CHUCK LAIN) WILL BE SAD TO HEAR OF HER PASSING WHEN HE GETS BACK AS I KNOW SHE WAS SPECIAL TO HIM. (HE IS IN JAMAICA ON VACATION AND WE HAVE HAD NO WAY TO CONTACT HIM.) PRAYERS FOR YOU ALL.

So sorry to hear of Alberta's passing. I have fond memories of her. She always was upbeat and friendly to every one she met. I last saw her a few years ago and she still had that outgoing personality. I'm sure there are many great memories to cling to in the coming days and months. RIP Alberta.

Aunt Bert was loved and will be missed. We enjoyed seeing her on one of our visits to Illinois a few years ago. I always appreciated her no nonsense straight talk. Our condolences to Sherrie and and the the rest of Aunt Bert's family.
