Dear Judy, Tom and Dan,
I'm so sorry to hear about Butch. Although we've lost track of each other over the years I think of your family often. I haven't seen the boys since they've grown up but remember them as little guys. But my fondest memories are of Butch and I riding our dirt bikes on the Green River bottoms and trying to scale Reese's ski hill. He was a great friend and you guys were great neighbors. I am so sorry for your tragic loss. My name is Amy. I am a nurse from around the Chicago area. My family and I were on our way home from my parents house when we came upon the accident right after it occurred. There was an array of off duty medical professionals at his side. I truly feel that he was surrounded by people who did everything they could to help him. I just want you to know he wasn't alone. I held his hand and another woman held his head. My prayers go out to you and your family. I will keep you close to my heart and pray for peace for you.

So sorry for your loss. Me and my son and his 2 friends came upon the accident right after it happened. We all did what we could do within our means to Comfort him. It all happened so fast. I do feel at the time he went I was looking into his eyes and seen he was at peace with no pain.
