My sincere condolences to the Pauli family on the loss of your beloved Betty. Losing someone you love is the most difficult thing a family will ever do. Our Heavenly Father knows the pain death brings and that is why at Revelation21:3,4 Jehovah God (Psalms83:18) promises soon all pain, sickness and death will be eliminated. How comforting to know Jehovah not only has the power but the desire to reunite us with our loved ones by means of the resurrection hope Jesus spoke of at John 5:28,29. May you find comfort in these scriptures and your beautiful memories of Betty.

Dear Uncle Arland, Beverly, Linda, Janice, and David,

Our family shares your grief and loss over the death of Betty. Aunt Betty was an only aunt to me and my two younger brothers, as well as a sister-in-law to my Mom and Dad. She was a strong, determined woman, who personally gave me Godly counsel, love, and advice, on more than one occasion. We are deeply sorry........she was a much-loved, talented, and beautiful woman. We love her so very much, still, as a family. I am positive all of the angels in Heaven are now rejoicing at her arrival! We, as a family, will all be reunited someday! Our continued prayers for Uncle Arland and his children, and the many grand-children, and great grand-children.

John 16:22 "And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you."

What a loss to those of us left on this earth! Betty was the first St John's visitor to our home so many years ago. I loved her sense of humor, her deep faith in our Lord, and her participation in choir. A beautiful life shared with so very many people. I share in your sadness, but rejoice with you at the same time. You definitely are able to sing Alleluia with tears running down your cheeks!

I was deeply saddened to learn of Betty's passing. Betty and Arland were frequent patrons at the Moline Public Library before moving to Geneseo and it was an honor and a pleasure serving them for many years. My sincerest sympathy to Arland and family.

Hi Paulis. Thinking of you all, and what great neighbors you were.
Your Mom helped Carol Brewer with a 4-H project that I still have.
So happy she Loves Jesus.....until we all meet again.

Arland, David, Bev, linda, and Janice--We offer our sincerest sympathy on Betty's calling to live with the Lord. It was Betty and Arland that really lived the Christian life and their exemplary lives were great inspirations to us. How lucky for us to know you both spiritually and socially. Our heart aches to lose such a child of God. But she was a great mom, and a joy for all of us to know. Blessings to you.

Betty was a woman who loved the Lord and her family! I will always be thankful for the inspiration she brought to my life through Bible study and just being there for her friends. She had a smile that would light up the room and always had time to listen to those who needed her ear. May all of her family find the Peace of our Lord during this difficult time. Heaven is even brighter now!

Dear Arland and family,
Scott and I and Matt and Nic are so sad to hear of Betty's passing. We lived next door when they lived on 15th ST A In Moline. I grew up in Lanark IL and we knew some of the same people from their days at Lake Carroll..Scott and I always enjoyed visiting them next door or in Geneseo. We had just been there at Christmas time and through her pain Betty was still so sweet.
May our loving heavenly Father wrap His loving arms around you all as you lay her to rest. God bless all of you.

Betty and I weathered our kids growing up on Troy Drive with coffee almost a daily thing shared. We walked the Hennepin Canal with Don and Arland and always looked forward to sharing that time together. Good friends are hard to find but Betty and Arland were always there for us. My prayers are with you as you say your goodbyes.
