I was so sorry to hear of Chet's passing. He was a loved man by many and had a good heart. I am unable to attend any of the services because of work but I want you to know I will be thinking of all of his family members and I know he was loved and will be very missed.

Not long ago my brother - Bob - and I talked about your family and the wonderful times we had camping on your property at the canal. Once your dad told us we could pick corn - and then he laughed at us because we had field corn! I have movies of Mary with her broken arm, Roger with Ginger in the water and with a hard shell & soft shell turtle. I remember going up to your house many times..and then having to walk Ginger back on those hills and corncob road because she wouldn't let me ride! It was wonderful that your father opened up his land to us to camp and be such kind people. Bob was here last fall and we tried to remember how to get to your farm. We are thinking of you at this time. My parents have been gone for a very long time, but I know they would send their thoughts and prayers, too. Linda Swanson Lootens

You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Your dad was so proud of all of you. Uncle Chet was a awesome uncle! I will miss his chats, our suppers at the Moose when I would come home, and most all his hugs and him saying goodbye with a "Love ya hun"! God Bless you Uncle Chet and here is a "Love ya hun" back at you in heaven.
