Rick, Missy and David, Hope all is as well as can be expected. Sad to see another Dad from the neighborhood pass away. I think I will still toot my truck horn when I drive by the home place as I always have when your Dad was out in the yard. For the past few years I have been putting bags of aluminum cans in your Dad's truck and he never knew it was me. Your Dad helped build many buildings and poured ALOT of concrete in this town. Additionally , he raised one Geneseo's best wrestlers , a tough little brother to put up with Rick and I and my first girl friend at South School.
Sorry I missed the services Tim Kincaid

Peanuts, Missy, and Charlie Brown,
So sorry to hear about Cookie. He was one heck of a guy who love people and put up with all of us "kids" coming in and out of all hours of the day and night. I've never again been around such loving and welcoming people as "Mother" and "Cookie". I know they touch a lot of hearts and changed many lives. They are together again, with Uncle Gary, Brian, and a few others who have gone before. Please know you and your families are in my prayers and I'm thinking of you all. Consider yourself hugged!!! Blessings, Lori"O"

We extend our sympathy to Cookie's family. I first met him when he helped build my father's (Howard Bartz's) corn crib, RR 3, Geneseo many years ago. My grandparents and aunt (Krinjob) lived in same neighborhood as Cookie. We could also be distant relatives? Dad Howard's mother was a Pobanz. So, many possible connections. May God bless you all with many memories.

One of my favorite customers both at Edwards Readymix and at the Post Office.
Cookie always spoke. He could dish it out and take it too. He was a hard worker
and will be missed by many. RIP Cookie.

Cookie was a good man and a good neighbor. He will be missed in this town. He was a hard working man with a ready smile who never failed to wave or say hi when he went by and would walk down and chat with my parents and me.
