Debbie and family:
I remember Joyce so fondly, this broke my heart! I was a fixture at the McMillen household growing up and spent many a day in the kitchen of the home where Joyce was always either cooking, doing dishes or hanging out with the rest of the family and many friends that would come over to stay....Joyce made the best white rice and scrambled eggs!! (smiling)
I have lost touch with Debbie and the family over the years but have never forgotten how loved and welcomed I always felt there and will be forever thankful I had them in my life growing up! God bless Joyce, her husband, children, family and friends! Remember its never goodbye, its until we meet again! Much love and prayers to you all! God bless!!

Randy and family ~ Nan just informed me last night of Joyce's passing. I was very heartbroken to receive this news. Oddly, Joyce and I had become friends on Face Book several years ago. It was actually through her that I was able to connect with the some of your family on Face Book. I had hoped that we could, Randy, but she laughed and said that you were not interested in Face Book! Although we had never personally met, I feel as if I have come to know her well just through her posts, comments and pictures. When I found out I had breast cancer in 2010, it was my second go around with this awful chronic disease of cancer, the first being in 1987 and 1988 when I had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Joyce, immediately, became very encouraging and supportive. I know she prayed for me, as I have for her. It just breaks my heart that she will no longer be here with us and that I never had the opportunity to meet her her here. However, I know that I will finally meet her one day in Heaven. And that....puts a smile on my face and brings me JOY! There are no words that I could possibly share that will truly ease your loss, your pain, your sorrow. So I leave this up to God. May He bless you with the peace and comfort in which only He can truly provide. Sending my deepest condolences to all of you. ~ Nancy (Sparks) Otto

Thinking and praying for each of you! I am so grateful for the crossing paths of each of you through basketball. I have such a HUGE respect and gratitude for all of you, and gratefulness for how your mom/wife reached out to me during that 2014 season after my dad passed. I am grateful for her legacy that lives on in each of you. Praying that as the next few weeks move into fall, we can touch base and I can bring a meal out for you. My heart aches for you. I know she is dancing with Jesus and enjoying the beauty of Heaven. She is experiencing everything we are looking forward to and hoping for, everything we've learned about God and Jesus and Heaven...She is there she is seeing it all. My heart is overflowing for her excitement but broken for your loss. Joyce loved each of you so much. But she knew and I think you do too that Jesus loves you even more. He knows your grief your loss your pain and He promises in Hiw Wrd that He will never leave you. He will sustain you and hold you up He will give you His strength to finish His plans for you here. There are a lot of tears in Geneseo right now but please remember there are also a lot of prayers for each one of you. Joyce was a wonderful, courageous women we count it a privelge to have known her and gone to church with her. I enjoyed my time of serving in mops with her and helping her with different functions in the church.
