Dear Lynn and Family, Growing up in the neighborhood and friend of the family since before I was born Marty was one of the greatest. Always a quick hello and friendly smile. I loved his quick dry sense of humor and sharp bark when he was starting to laugh. I am so sorry to have missed the services. Kathy and I were out of town and I saw the service information just minutes ago. Lynn, thanks for watching me when my parents were probably out somewhere with yours or someone else from the old gang. Marty was one of those guys that made things happen and one you always enjoyed being around. We will all miss him and we are all better for having had a chance to share a part of life on earth with him. God Bless. Warmest personal regards, Bill Hanford

Dear Lynn and Patrick, and the Angevine Family,
I have such fond memories of your family throughout my childhood and young adulthood, expecially of your Dad's laughter and generous greetings in your kitchen and den of your Pearl Street home, as well at Sunday School and church services!  My prayers and thoughts are with you, and hope to see you during visitation and service on Monday, weather permitting.  I can still hear your giggles, Lynn, shaking the pews at First Congregational Church!!  Your Dad was more than a father figure to me, as your parents welcomed me so graciously into your family.  For these reasons, I will be eternally grateful for each sleepover and spontaneous visit we shared together.  May you find peace that you were, and always will be, a perfect daughter, sister, and friend.

Sincerely,
Jeanie

What a loss for those of us who had the pleasure to know him.  My Mother and father were friends and I have had the pleasure of knowing Marty most of my life.  I also have enjoyed him while being the Activity Director at Woodridge.  He brought smiles to all with his comments!!  He so enjoyed his fishing trips with Pat and his family.  He loved his family and the last conversation we had was about you all! I am sorry for you all but happy he was blessed by leaving this world quickly. I will miss the man and that special chuckle.  Sympathy to you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Marty's passing. I knew him well with the harness racing field. He was a really great guy. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sadness.

Lynn ... I am so sorry to hear of Marty's passing. I have such fond memories of growing up and the neighborhood get-togethers. Marty (and your Mom) were always right there! Jack and I are in Florida for a few more weeks so unfortunately we won't be able to pay our respects in person. And because we aren't home, I'm not sure if Dad will attend alone. BUT he still surprises me with what he does .... So who knows!!! Please pass my sympathy's to Patrick and your entire family. My thoughts are with you this next week. Please stay in touch. Bonnie

I've had the pleasure of delivering Marty's mail since he moved to Woodridge, and it really has been a pleasure!  He was usually waiting for my arrival by the front door or community room with a smile on his face and a few kind words.  I will certainly miss him.  I'm so sorry for your loss.
