Words are not adequate to express the sadness that we feel at this time. Our hearts hurt for you, his wonderful family, that he loved so much. He began a heritage which you can continue and pass on to your children. We love you and our prayers are with you. We do not understand now- someday, soon, we will. God makes no mistakes!

Our basketball team from Max's driveway is now missing a good dribbling guard. Miles and years have separated us, but the Lord that we learned to serve in high school youth group, welcomes you with a "Well Done faithful servant." We learned reading, writing, and arithmetic together at Auburn High,, but learned to love our dear Lord in Youth Group at Berean. Our group has gotten smaller here on earth, now, but is larger in Heaven today.

Missing You Always
You never said I'm Leaving
You never said goodbye.

And only God knows why..
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still.
In our heart's we hold a place
That only you can fill.
It broke our heart to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
A part of us went with you
The day God took you home..

Dear Kobernat family,
I can only imagine the glory that Pastor sees. Pastor lead Missy to Christ and helped save her from Hell. I loved being part of his peanut gallery in the back row and laughing at his jokes.
I am out of state and unable to make it home in time for the funeral, but Missy will be there sharing my thoughts and prayers.
A prayer of comfort and splice, Debbie Hammond

It is hard to believe that 20 years has passed since Mr. Kobernat welcomed us into homeroom. Time goes by in a blink! He was the only homeroom teacher our class ever had. He took us from our awkward years and sent us off into adulthood. I have so many great memories of Mr. Kobernat. I still have my Proverbs indexing project. He had us write out and index into categories every single verse of Proverbs! We read the Proverb of the day each morning in homeroom. What a great man of God, and fantastic teacher. I am using some of his teaching styles in my own homeschooling of my children now. May God's grace be on his family as you adjust to this difficult loss.

Words could never express the love and appreciation we have for our Pastor and family. That this is being written is unfathomable to me. To be able to say our Pastor is also one of our best friends also is a privilege. Definitely a Hero of the Faith. A Soldier of the cross. A void is now present in so many lives.

We are both sadden for the family and joyful for pastor. He is with our heavenly father. The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father, We are so very thankful for this faithful servant because he has been a true blessing to my family. The Kobernat family is in our prayers. God bless

I was so saddened to hear of the Kobernat family's loss. I knew him as Mr. Kobernat as I was one of his many students at Berean. I did not know him as a pastor but I know the passion he had for teaching and living God's will and can only assume it carried over. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
