Dear Arlene, Sue, Pam, Steve and Family,
We are very sad to hear of Carl's passing. We have many fond memories of our time as neighbors. As a kid I remember him being a tease...but very sweet and fun to be around--I enjoyed spending time at the Cochran's. Mom and I are so glad that the last time we were in the QC we were able to meet up. I was not surprised at all that in his 'retirement' he was busy making furniture and things that I'm sure are treasured heirlooms for grandkids and family. Our loving thoughts are with you all. He will be missed by so many, but I know he's smiling down with pride on his family who he was so proud to call his own.

I will always remember Carl coming in to Chicago Street Decorating looking for Kevin for whom he always had fond words! He sure knew how to make us laugh and I will miss him. I'm glad I have a memory of him in my home, as he crafted a beautiful custom oak cabinet for me.
