It would be hard for me to ever express the thanks I feel for my dear friend Joyce. I will miss her very much, her smile, her outlook on life and her kindness to everyone. 40 years ago Joyce taught me one of the most important information that I was ever to know to run my business. She was a genius with legal descriptions and taught me to read those metes and bounds descriptions that I would use for the next 40 years in my business. Thanks Joyce for being my friend for all these years. There is no doubt that I and others will miss you. Bette Clarke

Our condolences to the Carmaney family. Her son Bruce has told us many great stories about his mother over the years. She sounded like such a great person. We wish we would have had a chance to meet her.
Per the families request, a donation has been made to the Henry County Humane Society.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Carmaney family and friends.

What a wonderful person Joyce was. Anyone would be lucky to have known her. Her constant smile and love for life could only be felt by anyone around her. She truly was one of God's Good Samaritans. May God's Heavenly Angels carry her to her Creator's arms. Our thoughts and prayers to the family as they all grieve in her loss.

Years ago I had to look up some information at the courthouse. There I met Joyce with her loving, kind, and helpful ways. I was so taken by her personality. Our paths would occasionally cross in downtown Geneseo. She was a memorable person and I sent you my deepest sympathy for you loss.

I was very surprised to learn about Joyce's passing. About a month ago, I had a short visit with her at her home and she seemed just fine. The obituary tells of her compassion for her dogs and of course her family and friends.
She was a hard worker and generous with her time.
She will be missed by all.

We are saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. She stopped to see us at our home not long ago and was so excited about her class reunion. She came to Kewanee to buy the perfect outfit. . Joyce is the reason why my husband and I are together. She worked her magic on us while I was working with her in the Assessor's office. We are forever in her debt. Joyce was a fun-loving person and I never saw her in a bad mood. Her love for her family - including her furry family - was so special, as was Joyce. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
