Robert A. Snow

Robert A. Snow, 48, of Milan, formerly of Geneseo, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Trinity Rock Island. Memorial services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 5, 2012 at First Congregational Church, Geneseo. Rev. Bruce Bergthold will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation for Robert will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am prior to services at the church. Per his request cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to an Educational Fund for his son Sam. Vandemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Geneseo is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Robert was born on September 17, 1963 in Geneseo the son of D. Richard & Gloria I. (Swanson) Snow. He was a 1980 graduate of Geneseo High School and later graduated from Hamilton Tech College. Robert married Debbie VanHorst, they later divorced. He was currently employed at BMS Manufacturing Company, Milan as a supervisor of his department. Robert enjoyed computers and teaching his son computers.

Survivors include his son Sam Snow, Bettendorf; his mother Gloria, Geneseo; three sisters Sharon (Jeff) Schneider, Geneseo; Judy (David) Eisenreich, Plymouth, MN; Linda Pilcher, Rock Island; two brothers Dennis (Claudia) Snow, Sawyer, MI; Ron (Skipper) Snow, Cambridge; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father D. Richard Snow on September 27, 2011, and grandparents.
